Identity Fraud Alert:

Posted by Admin Posted on Jan 21 2015
Scam Alert - Senior Citizens are being targeted for Identity Fraud. Criminals call and claim they are from the IRS and demand payment over the phone for tax or penalties due. DO NOT FALL FOR IT.
  1. The IRS NEVER demands payment over the phone from credit/debit cards
  2. The IRS NEVER emails you.

Please share with your friends and family.

If you ARE a victim of Identity Theft you need to let your tax preparer know. You may be required to paper file your return and there are other concerns that we can help with as you work through the process of recovery.

Any accounting, business or tax advice contained in this communication, including attachments and enclosures, is not intended as a thorough, in-depth analysis of specific issues, nor a substitute for a formal opinion, nor is it sufficient to avoid tax-related penalties. If desired, Anderson, Spector & Co., P.C. would be pleased to perform the requisite research and provide you with a detailed written analysis. Such an engagement may be the subject of a separate engagement letter that would define the scope and limits of the desired consultation services.
